How To Store Ice Cream Bars

Once the bars have been cut, and possibly decorated then pop them into an airtight container, with nonstick baking parchment between each layer, which avoids the low-carb chocolate-chip ice cream bars sticking to one another.

Can I Eat Breyers Carb Smart On Keto Diet

Yes, you can. All the eight flavors are conducive for a person on a Ketogenic diet and can be consumed. However, many of them have to consume by cutting down the serving, and this is explained below with respect to each product. The Breyers Fudge bar is a clear winner and consuming it in normal servings is keto-approved.

All the other flavors have to undergo a cut from the normal servings. These include the Vanilla, Almond Bar, Chocolate bar, Carb Smart Vanilla bar, Caramel Swirl Bar, and the Mint Fudge bar.

Other Observations:

The Dessert fudge Bar falls well within the low carb diet at 3 grams, and there are no added sugars thus aiding keto processes..

The Almond flavor exceeds the net carbs level of four, which is keto-approved and is at five. Along with the Added sugars are 5 grams per serving. With one serving at 57 grams, it is wise to cut it down to 28 grams or lesser, which would not harm Ketosis. All the other factors lie within the parameters prescribed.

The Vanilla flavor has its net carb level at 4, but the concern is, however, with the quantity of Sugar Alcohol. The positive factor is that there are no added sugars. Certain sugar alcohols could lead to ailments, and therefore, it is suggested to cut down the serving from 78 grams to 25 grams to enjoy the other benefits of the Vanilla flavor.

The sugar and fat are all within the keto-approved range, and calories also fall well within 150-175 scope per day.

So we decided to make some low carb chocolate bars of our own! Theyre simple to make any time you have a hankering for something chocolatey. Of course, we used erythritol as our sweetener! Try this recipe in the form of chocolate chips with an easy trick!

  • Melt 4 tbsp of butter and an ounce of unsweetened baker’s chocolate, stirring well.
  • Add in 1 tbsp of heavy cream and 3 tbsp of powdered erythritol and stir.
  • Then add the vanilla and salt and stir.
  • This step is optional, but it gives the chocolate a good boost: crack some sea salt into the chocolate mold.
  • Pour your chocolate batter into the chocolate mold over the cracked sea salt.
  • Give it a shake to help the chocolate spread into the corners.
  • Freeze for an hour and enjoy!

    Step 1: Make the keto custard.

    Make the quick and easy sugar-free keto custard, then simply pour the sugar-free ice cream into the baking tray that has been lined with baking parchment paper or plastic wrap.

    Step 2: Freeze then cut.

    How To Make Biscoff Ice Cream Bars

    These Biscoff ice cream bars have three components:

  • The vanilla ice cream center with crunchy Lotus Biscoff cookies
  • The soft cookiebutter layer
  • The white or Belgian chocolate coating
  • Start by making the cookie butter ice cream by adding any light vanilla ice cream to a bowl. For my ice cream bars, I decided to go with Breyers No Sugar Added vanilla ice cream, but any ice cream will work.

    You can leave the ice cream out at room temperature to soften it, but if youre impatient like I am, you can microwave the bowl of ice cream for about 15 seconds to soften.

    Crumble up one Biscoff cookie and mix that into your softened ice cream.

    Add the softened ice cream to a popsicle mold and then add to the freezer for 2-3 hours to allow the ice cream bars to fully harden.

    Youll know they are ready when you can pop them out of the silicone mold without any ice cream being left behind.

    At this stage, if you want a low-calorie treat, you can enjoy a delicious ice cream bar with crunchy Biscoff cookies, which has a surprisingly large amount of Biscoff flavor considering the small amount used.

    Since I wanted these ice cream bars to closely resemble the actual Lotus Biscoff Ice Cream Bars, I decided that I needed to trim these popsicles down a bit.

    This step is completely optional, but it will give you an authentic shape AND bring the calorie count down a little bit .

    Use a sharp knife to cut the sides off of the popsicle so you are left with a skinnier ice cream bar.

    I writing this post for one of my best friends who is very health conscious and always trying to eat the right way. His wife texted me a picture of this ice cream last night saying he purchased it because it was low in carbs and good on the belly. I immediately looked up the ingredients and told her to return it. This product is nothing more than a chemical concoction. As you will see from the following ingredient breakdown, calling this product ice-cream is certainly a stretch. I figure if Breyers was able to trick my friend, they are probably tricking many others. Please dont be fooled. This product is a great example of why you should always read your labels and not go by what the front of the package claims. Here is what is really in Carb Smart Vanilla Ice-Cream :

    What Is No

    Is a no-churn ice cream recipe easier than using an ice cream maker? Yes, because you don’t have to pre-freeze the chiller compartment, and you don’t have to stand by your ice cream maker for half an hour.

    Ice cream makers can either make your homemade ice cream too soft or too solid.

    BUT I love my ice cream maker, and using it makes for a light and fluffy ice cream, but when you are wanting a healthy ice cream bar, then the no-churn method is perfect.

    Top Tip: If you do use an ice cream maker, this will turn the recipe from an ice cream bar to fluffy ice cream that can be scooped.
